UK Wednesday

there is a combination of maidens coming out for one run, summer horses having their last outing before turning in for the winter and the winter horses coming out for their first run. Pretty difficult today (well aren't most days). Millions of leaves lying around so maybe time to get the leaf blower out and forget about the horses for the day.

Very much agree Newmarket minefield with unexposed 2yo"s.
Only 2yo I may have a small interest in is IMPERIAL LINK due to better recent form of Cole and the fact he has put up Kevin Scott who has been used to excellent effect by Godolphin of late. Worth noting Godolphin (Suroor) has booked him for Friday at Donny.
Of the only 3yo plus race I like the look of TEMPTRESS (last race).

Playing longshot Highly Likely e/w [ probably UNlikely ] at Kemton tonight.
Seems to run well enough to the 1800/2000 mark and then fades. Maybe
he'll stay to-night.
Also on Dutch Portrait R6.

I have backed Afjaan at 15/2. I did not want to play today but I am weak.

R8 Kempton Dylan's Centenary E/W. A truly dreadful race with big question marks over almost all the runners. Dylan's Centenary is the highest rated horse in the race (not that that's saying much), but he has been shaping as if a step back up in trip is now what he needs. He's well drawn and his (admittedly inexperienced) apprentice knows him well. Looks a solid E/W option at around 6/1.
