A filly from the family of Black Caviar has made an impressive debut in country Victoria.

Three-year-old Sistonic stepped out in a maiden race over 1100m at Sale on Thursday and raced to a convincing 4-1/2 length win.

Like Black Caviar, Sistonic is a daughter of Bel Esprit.

And her mother Danavia is a half-sister to Black Caviar’s dam Helsinge with both mares out of Scandinavia.
