On Thursday 2 October between 2.09pm and 2.35pm the Tellytrack feed went off air and was replaced by news channel CNBC for those 26 minutes.
The Tellytrack feed does not go directly to Multichoice and is first channelled through another service provider. It was there that the error occurred.
They have reported to us that a faulty switch on their system feeding Multichoice was the reason CNBC Africa was inadvertently routed to Multichoice.
Once they saw the problem, it was immediately fixed, and they have assured us a permanent solution has been put in place so it does not happen again. Tellytrack wishes to apologise for the inconvenience caused.
