I was lucky enough to see this Sire at Rathmor when they showed him. Very impressive on the eye and I will be looking out for his progeny. I know that Craig was there too. Would be interesting to read his comments.

It has come to my attention that those opening the Rathmor Newsletter (a pdf) on an iPad (or similar) recently updated to IOS8 are unable to click on 'links' withing the pdf file - of which there are several in the Rathmor 'hyperactive' Newsletter!

The following, on this issue, which appeared in this morning's edition of TDN will, hopefully, assist those of you that may have this problem:

Well - only time will tell in that regard - but NOBLE TUNE (USA) is one of the most exciting sire-prospects to come to SOUTH AFRICA (not just KZN!) in the past few years! He has ALL the attributes required for success at stud: SPEED, TOP-LEVEL 2YO FORM, GREAT SIRE, TREMENDOUS DAMLINE, SOUNDNESS .... and, EXCPETIONAL CONFORMATION!


That Rathmor Stud had the foresight to pursue this horse - and that he stands in KZN - is something that should have everyone with a mare (that suits him) scrambling to get a cover.

Even the Cape Times gave NOBLE TUNE (USA) a half-page following his 'stallion day' - it is no wonder that some of the top Western Cape studs are sending him mares this season!

Louis Goosen paid a visit yesterday
