Was there on Friday. Great venue with good music and cheap beer between 6-7. The problem is that it is hidden and the poster you shared I don't think I saw 1 in the whole of Greyville

Jewish holiday today apparently

There are 2 interesting runners for me tonight. The first comes up in Race 3 being Dual Allowance, running off his turf rating of 57 when his sand rating at his last start was 84. The 1200 may be a touch sharp and needs to not give too much start away but with 49,5 on his back could be a runner. 10/1 is available on BW and at these odds is worth a few Rand EW.

The second comes up in the 7th. Touching Base ran a very good race on her first trip to the poly and won in an impressive time. Seventh Virtue ran in the race before on that day and Touching Base would have beaten her by 12.16 lengths. She did get a 4 pound penalty for that win but at 10/1 compared to 4/1 of Seventh Virtue could represent the value of the race. The 1000 is also a bit of a concern but there looks like there will be plenty of speed in the race so if not too far back going through the 400 meters could mow them down. There is 12/1 available if you shop around.

I am going to play an EW double on these two.

Thanks. Thought it was strange especially as he could have had some good mounts this weekend Rakes Chestnut, Majmu (weight permitting). But good on him, he has his priorties in order.
