Durbanville, 13/09

Just to get the ball rolling, Triptothestars, R4, this is my best bet on the card, opened 14/10 see it's shortened into 12/10, think it will start shorter come race time. A repeat of it's last run to Seize The Throne should see it beat this field. It's main danger, Bruno, is having it's first run in open company and at the course, so i'm hoping he will need the run.

The other one i fancy on the card is in R2, Stratocruiser. On a slight drift, out to 33/10 from 28/10, because of the support for African Fish Eagle, 7/2 into 28/10. Still trying to work out the reason for the support for AFE, i don't think this is the likely winner, however i have been horribly wrong in the past, I'll stick with Stratocruiser.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Had a look at this race, and quite honestly, the Neisius horse which is bred for speed doesn't have to be too smart to win this race. The combination (trainer/jockey) had a decent winner midweek despite the drift. Whilst the Snaith horse can improve, it showed nothing on debut - just my opinion.

Irrespective of what you say Colours, I'm never hopping off my (own) selection, so what do you say, enlighten the Clan, Sir - let's confuse the masses.

Race 3 - 1st timer for Yogad
Race 4 - Agree with Bayern - trip to the stars.

The above double will win today and I also like Princess Salme.

Good luck

Some good points Bayern here is some of my thoughts
Race 1: if the kannemeyer horse was ready for today, it would have shortened by now as Neisius rode the second fav first time so he should have a good idea which is better? I'm gonna follow the money race time
Race 4 Triptothestars already had 5 starts so looks vulnerable and at odds on I'd rather be with Bruno who ran in stronger fields imo

4yr old unraced? - must be some issues there - stable in form but still very wary of this type of horse
