I Support Manchester

Don't worry I'm not pissed,it's the beer festival not the team..
Are there any like minded individuals who like a pint of real and would like to meet up in sunny
Manchester in January 2015.
It's a nice time to go after Xmas and during those miserable winter months..
Details below, will be able to get complimentary tickets and hotels are reasonable.
Manchester Beer & Cider Festival
In January 2015, the North’s most spectacular beer event will return to the Velodrome at Manchester’s National Cycling Centre. With over 500 beers, ciders and perries on offer, Manchester Beer & Cider Festival 2015 will be even bigger and better than our début. Expanding on the 2014 event, the festival will take over the whole of the Velodrome including both the floor in the centre of the track and the whole of the concourse area.
Around half the beers will be located on new bars on the concourse area with step free access and in close proximity to thousands of seats overlooking the iconic Velodrome track where once more British Cycling’s Team GB Olympians will train every day (as well as many other local cycling clubs and schools). Food outlets will also be split between the floor & concourse.
Once again we’ll be featuring some of the very best cask conditioned craft beers available selected from the very best brewers from around the country. From traditional bitters to hop front IPAs through to the most cutting edge sours & saisons, there will be something for everyone. We’ll also be working with a number of local breweries to bring you a selection of special brews showcasing the new boundaries of British Beer. Follow our facebook and twitter feeds for all the latest news.
Our cask bars will be joined by a massive selection of ciders & perries and the Bière Sans Frontières bar will be back with an even greater selection of draft & bottled beers from the USA, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Czech Republic and more.
After last year’s unprecedented numbers of visitors drank us dry, we’re ordering in almost 60,000 pints – 40% more than last year.
The National Cycling Centre is home to both British Cycling and Team Sky and the Velodrome track will remain in use operational throughout the festival. The Great Britain Cycling Team train daily on the track, including some sessions during festival opening hours so there is every chance of catching Olympians & Paralympians like Jason Kenny, Laura Trott & Dame Sarah Storey on the track as you enjoy the beer.
Festival dates:
Wednesday 21st January – Saturday 24th January 2014.
Check the guy out bottom right.
1932 prohibition,glad I was born a bit later
