Great to see the success of some "New Blood" in the trainers ranks in Gauteng and Cape..

Two many trainers. small ones will battle

last 100 winners on forms grids

only maybe Hill, Gadsby and janse van vuuren can be classified as new.

L forbes had a winner.

Problem highlighted by stats

Jocks this season with wins 63
Trainers already 80 different winners.

to small a pool of races and horses for so many people

The small yards will battle if they don't get new owners with top stock

The new trainers need to prove themselves before owners move horses to them - how can they do this if no one gives them a chance - its tough !!!

Van Vuuren without a doubt is on the up and results are showing...

Crawford in Cape is most obvious, whilst I agree is not new to training he is relatively new on his own and is great to see him getting the results.. ( Just look at what has happened to his old stable/owner ?? Not really getting the results despite possibly having some of the most expensive horses in training)

Robinson is another one in the cape since going on his own and breaking away from Private Training.

Natal have to aggree with Forbes to a degree but most yards there seem to struggle in all fairness.

PE think that Mackenzie is on the up and getting some fair results with very moderate string..
