Champagne Showers has had many chances. Should have won at least 3 races by now. You have to say to yourself: One of these days she will crack maiden. Maybe today

Astroman is my best bet today. Just don't like the fav. Don't ask me why... I have been wrong more often than not, but got the feeling about Astroman.

Nice double with CS to start of the day on a high note. For those who don't wanna take any risks, GF and Astroman offer decent double odds (around 13/10)

My 2 runners suffered from shocking rides in their last runs. Night Lock was given no chance as he must have been 25 lengths off in a slowly run race and Discourse was even worse. He was well drawn at 4 and I asked the appie to just get him out and sit around midfield and as close to the fence as possible. Within 200m he was 2 lengths behind the 2nd last horse and 5 wide!

Both should improve.
