Rousseau`s last win was one of the most eye catching wins of the season in Kimberley

Van Rensburg WILL have a good day - This guy is excellent on Sand and that stable can find them at a price - I also think Gunther will have a cracker as will Yeni - Ensure you include them in all your bets
I found Naude on Snow Call for Spies (drawn 2 and is the type that can jump and win with a r5ider that loves being the hare)

My place bet for the day is Space Girl in race 3.
She was ultra impressive at the start of her career which resulted in her soon receiving a MR of 92. It's been fairly lean times since then but her MR has now dropped to a 74 and there are still signs of life in her recent starts - 14.25l behind Quick Glance might not sound great but the winner won by 12.5l and Space Girl travelled fairly strongly for a fair bit. The drop to 1200m should also suit.
She did run a place in the equivalent meeting last her.

R1 The two that interest me given the prices are Commander In Chief who Stef and Gunter both said worked well on the sand at home prior to his debut. Although that was a disappointing run in the end, he did race handy before fading so the drop in trip may suit now. The other is the SVW sand debutant Beez Brother. Only one run for the Drier stable before switching and a positive breeding indicator.... just a hunch that I think this one will go well on the sand. Have dutched but at a push... Beez Brother x C-in-C x In Accordance

Race 7 - Flamingo
I believe a few others will have ANGER'S measure today, he's good but I just can't have him today for some reason. I prefer others, MR VINDALOO won over 1000m with 63 kg's and although beaten by ANGER he may have needed he's last two, 3rd run after a rest today, he's well weighted and will run a big race IMO, it doesn't end there, SOLDIER SAILOR was an easy winner last time out, he was very speedy and just kept finding, can't be ignored and at 25/1 again today could be another Christmas present, I'm least worried about S&S, think 1200m much better and this trip will be far too short, ROSSEAU was super impressive over the 1000m last time out and although a maiden winner it seems the blinkers did the trick, he's up in class but gets a handy weight and could feature the last 100m.
Selections: SOLDIER SAILOR X ROSSEAU X MR VINDALOO

Not going through it all but a quick word on R2 and then just a couple I like or will have a small nibble at on hunches or whatever... I do like the SVW stable today so they will probably feature quite heavily, could just be mental block bias! lol
R2 Cloud Runner the obvious one, has gone well from wide draws before but will it again allow one or two to keep him out of the winner's box? There are some with sand experience who could easily improve and cause a shock but the main dangers could be the debutants who both have something in the breeding to suggest they could take to the surface. Chambers is up for Spies on Lateral's Gold and the combination has to be highly respected from the 2 draw. I will also chance a small e/w on the Rugg newcomer Irish Crystal... Lateral's Gold x Irish Crustal x Cloud Runner
R3 Hard to oppose the Gauteng raider Delighted imo but I think Pole Dance could run a much improved run and Princess Creo looks to be going the right way.
R4 Not a race I liked so at the prices I am going to give a final e/w nibble chance to Jack Friday in the hope the drop in trip suits and that he didn't like the blinkers last time which are now removed. Bronze Idol and Imperial Coast could be thereabouts.
R5 Stone Reeves looks good to me, Philanthropic may go closest and Desert Breeze not discounted at decent odds. Dansili Express R1 e/w,
R6 Keen on Taqdeer. Money for Coy Boy has to be respected but for me the likeliest challenger, among plenty possibles, is King Of Mountain. Definitely think Troubled Waters worth a small e/w nibble.
R7 As mentioned before I have already had a go on at Rousseau and Soldiersailor. Plenty of possibles and Mr H's words regarding Sedge should not be ignored and have potential wisdom (as always of course sir
) behind them. I certainly wouldn't be leaving Anger out of exotics despite a few here not liking him today.
R8 I really like Here I Am at the prices. Another with plenty possibles but I've gone with Quick Glance and Giant Strides as the main dangers, but Kirtling Towers up in d worries me.
R9 Open race where my hunch is for Abu Mashar from Typhoon Tash and Tobe Heather. Jet For Joy of some interest and R1 on She's Amazing.
Be(s)t of luck to all
