Exactly, and they never use the excuse that it's the off season

Well deserved ! Good for them and well done RA.

Good news for P E racing.Really a slap in the face of Cape racing with only the Queens Plate and the Met to get the crowds to the racing.

more chance of all the jocks getting a mount in PE...

Correct, the Cape seem to have quality horses.......maybe a touch better than the PE horses, I'm sure Richard Hughes would prefer to ride a quality horse rather than something on its last opportunity to win a race or two. In saying that the overseas jocks have quite a party here.

Now what each area should do is start a competition for one punter in each center to win a chance to attend a one of the various functions in each area(make it two - one on course only and one drawn from the tabs outlets) - Also the RA should have a random draw for a member and partner to attend all three meetings on them and meet the Jocks etc
