Guys a few new jocks to the surface today if I'm not mistaken it is Grant Behr's first trip to the Polly. If I recall correctly Alec Forbes came down and it took a few rides for him to get used to it, in turn costing me money because I believed regardless he was on the correct horse. The GREAT Gavin Lerena even took one or two rides and then rode a winner from barrier 18 (
) What I am basically getting at is race one Pax Africana appears the right one however jocks first ride on the surface. I will rather be playing around with the 4, 7 and 10
Race 2 contains for me one of the best/value bets on the card. I truly believe ready for spring #7 is going to break the maiden tag today. All the other more fancied runners are drawn wide and I believe over 1300 the draw can be of some great significance. RFS is drawn in pole and gets Richard Fourie in the saddle which is a great plus. Biggest danger in my opinion is Grey Beret. The wide draw is of no significance because he will be doing his best work late. I believe his come back sprint was slightly unexpected in that he nearly won, he has his second run after the rest but I still believe he needs much further. This horse could graduate into the company of PE's top stayers.
Some quick bets no explanation needed:
R1#4 forest nymph place
R2#7 ready for spring place
R3 #3 Plumtree place
R5#6 Bright approval place
R7#8 River Tyne e/w (potentially improvement from the #14 Maeve)
R8#7 Miss Imperial place
That's what I will be playing around with today chaps. All the best.

Agreed Hibs but that's for our benefit so don't say too much till we get our bets on
