If Rio Carnival stays, he wins...was impressive running on second to Beach Beauty giving 2,5 kgs and level with Cape Town Noir (albeit below par) at level weights...winners time was under 83 seconds for 1400m so decent pace rather than crawl and sprint...

I have seen the fields for Friday and have noticed that there is a Greyville 1900 Consolation race. Futura is carded to run with 58kgs with Gone Baby Gone (58kgs) and my fancy Gifted Glory (60kgs). This is race though is not a handicap has the whole field is set to carry 58kgs except Gifted for Glory :S

Naresh, same conditions as if the made the main race, just increased the top horse to 60 kg.

Benchmark at 58,0 kg = 105 to 109
Benchmark at 56,0 kg = 100 to 104

Benchmark at 52,0 kg = 94 and less
The winner of this race will not incur a penalty of more than 6
Rating points, unless requested.
There will be no rating increase for placed horses, unless requested.
Weight for age allowances will be applied where applicable to a

Thanks (tu) I though the Greyville 1900 was a handicap, just was glancing through the fields and my eye popped out when I saw Futura. I see only two bands of weights are applicable due to the runners rated 98 and less. Thanks again.
