Despite all the positive news on the stock market I am told by a reliable source that the company took a bashing last month. I am sure Vee would verify this.

I hear there are now more finacial options and packages for bookmakers to take up pictures ... the very Churnover that PGE wants is the thing that has made them see the light it seems.

Makes sense ............I am one of them.
I know its a relative term, but I was not a big tote punter outside of local exotics and was surprised when I calculated how much it had reduced my spend by!

Here in KZN almost every bookie is a Tote agent!! It cannot be too good for Tote punters as these turf accountants prefer the straight bet, double trebles etc punter.:P

Hibs there are no way I would go and sit in our tote in Rustenburg again
a few years ago it was bearable but in recent years the tote are no being taken over by persons playing the soccer bets
they do not keep quiet during commentary so you can not hear
no space and they take up all the sitting space working out their multiple soccer bets
endless ques and no provision with betting world for betting windows for horse players exclusively
and when you get to window you find most of the operators no shit about the horse betting you ask for a yankee they fall of their chairs
thank you but no thank you.
I am sure their are plenty who feel like I do

I am sure there are exceptions but I think it's a bit like raffle tickets ....if it's in your face you take a ticket , but not too many people go out looking for raffles!
That is certainly how it affected me!

Interest in racing has been on the slide. The latest developments has been a death knell....we may not reverse the losses. What about the forum traffic..how much loss in interest. I am sure figures are down.

We had more visitors last month than ever before , but the hits were slightly down, noticed the racing threads are quieter some days but getting plenty of views still
