"LUCKY" is the MAN!

I was reading "Mollett's World" which I always enjoy, in connection with the "exodus of our top trainers" under "Are all our top trainers now leaving on a "Jet Plane"?

"Trainer "Lucky Houdalakis" is simply a breath of fresh air in SA racing.
None of this "we'll take it step by step" bull one gets in many post interviews, Lucky goes straight for the jugular and after J J had won the Senor Santa, berated someone who had suggested he'd "stuffed up" the training of the Jet Master 3 yr old.
"We got lured into the Classic, which was a mistake" was Lucky's candid admission and I fancy some owners are going to like this forth-right attitude and come knocking on his door.

Perhaps "Lucky" will engage Andrew Fortune for one of his runners. Now that's an interview I will insist on conducting!

Scotia, you got as much chance of conducting an interview on Tellytrack as TS has of being invited by Clyde to dinner !

However, the rest is spot on. Our grecko is indeed a breath of fresh air, no air and graces, what you see is what you get.

Long may the Greek renaissance continue !

I found Lucky to be a down to earth, Classy, sincere throughly 'good guy'.

Plus if you throw in a supportive wife, decent Horses and loyal owners - he's going only one way!

As for Mr Fortune, I for one, would love him to be up on her 'Clan ness'.

Ouzo guys, missing ya already!

Jim.
(ps Cuckoo, any news on our Filly?)

Have to agree with Jamster.

Would love to see Andrew on Clan Classique.

She will walk in by ten lengths on debut under "those hands"
