Much has been said and debated about this situation. The division, however, does not appear to be whether it is good or bad for the industry..........almost everybody I know believes the industry would be better off if every rand spent, had an equal contribution to the industry, as a whole.
What is irritating is the bookies being blamed for the sheer incompetence and mismanagement of the situation, by the operators.
The PSL has successfully secured the copyright of betting on its matches(although under appeal) ................................compare that to the management of the open bet fight and the Tellytrack debacle.
Maybe they should secure the legal team that got it right...............the principles must be very similar(both arrange contests that are the subject of betting) so you would think that a certain amount of precedent would apply?????

Very little precedent applies actually. The one relies on the betting turnover which is generated from its arranged contests in order to exist and the other does not.

If I was ever in doubt you removed it..................that response is completely idiotic.................your comment is totally unrelated to the principle (in fact your observation should, if anything, make the case of the operator even stronger)
