Hi Dave here is an idea to help you with your cash flow
A lot of the persons who use formgrids sometimes do not have the time to study each horses form, check collateral form etc
so why don't you supply a service which you charge for ( your initial service is still for free but the extra service comes at a small fee) where you send out a race by race report which can include which horses has the strongest form lines , collateral form etc ( you can determine what info and how the info will be displayed) and then you charge say R500 per month for it if you get 100 subscribers which I am sure you will that will be enough to employ a person to get to study the form put together this reports and send them out each day, you can actually employ two persons and have change left
please note this will not be atipping service as you will only guide your subscriber to which horse have strong form lines , collateral form etc
maybe some clanners can give their opinion about it
have a good day

James thanks for your input, we have got ''formline finder'' on the PRO version with settings determined by the user to find best formlines per race as well as on the full database based on date or % or wins only or wins and seconds which will require a monthly fee and Wolf says the subscription software will be ready about April, so not long to go,
we also are getting ready the service to owners breeders etc whereby an email will be sent out when horses are entered, carded, or throwing out good formlines etc which according to Larry the RA are willing to pay us a fee for as a service to their members, so its not much longer to wait,
the noise i sometimes/often make is more out of frustration at the fact that no regulators except the TBA, Tom, with limited money and GC, Graeme, Mr Butcher and co, of late have helped somewhat with some DEVELOPMENT money, im not talking running costs, the fact that this site is clearly good for SA racing should have been more than enough motivation to have got other industry leaders assisting us in DEVELOPING this site for all if they really wanna do good for the game as everyone claims
