Sales in Cape Town
11 years 4 months ago
Not much on the Forum about the sale today and tomorrow
I see the auctioneer Miller says he believes the record price will be broken
But the record for Red Rays full brother was a buyback on thr RTR sale
Not a true record in my opinion and cannot see anybody in their right mind overpaying hoping
to win $1m
May be a good sale but not without Jooste/van Niekerk buying 20% plus of the numbers

I had quite a good look at the catalogue (can't hurt to look, right
) - many choice lots up for grabs (and surely the Jooste's, V Niekerk's etc of this world can't buy them all :
) - would love to see the Distorted Humor's in the flesh - maybe I should try that P6 at the Vaal today :S

Whomever gets lot 144, a Distorted humor colt, get in the queue.....Wow, what a specimen.
If he runs even a quarter as good as he looks he will be real special!
Gonna be a lot of silly money at this sale, no value though.

Tommy you know about American Racing, what do you think of Kittens Joy as a stallion ? He cleaned up in America last season and what is amazing his progeny is suited to grass and he topped the Sires List in North America. If i was a big owner I should be importing his foals.
