I had a little on HOW based on Gift riding but my double was with Chill. Glad one of us got the double though... just would have preferred it to have been me! lol < Would have done DITD maestro but has never won in 32 c runs and only 1 win 33 d runs, would have been peeved had he won but a fine effort and will look again nto

Loopy, just find one per race at a bit of value and hope its a day the racing mafia have decided won't be a fav's day! Either that or pass it by...

Of all the favourites, I feel Raaees and Admiral's Eye are the two which appear most bankable. Having said that, Maritzburg has historically been a graveyard for favourites, especially the obvious ones, but I will take my chances with these two.

Did they have rain over night in pmb Agra ??? Rained all night in durban!!

nice card today....race 4 im going for ice pack and cowboy,ice pack the distance was a bit far last time but the previous run in soft conditions he was very unlucky not to run a lot closer ..cowboy has his 3rd run back and has recently been gelded and he has run to better than this field in his 2yo career and his run to chestnuts rocket in yielding going he had dual winners flying fellow and auction king behind him and had the same pair behind him on his run to nineteen fourteen....race 5 raaes got the full 6 point penalty for his impressive last win and i have him running closer to an 85 last time but the only thing that worries me is he is still very dumb which is ok at clairwood as you got time to recover but scotsville might not be so forgiving...i fancy red rover to run a big race as its his 3rd run back after rest and gelded and he has done well against very nice horses over a mile in plate company such as wild one and king neptune ..race 8 iswithi is way to short in the betting and im siding with the long time battling maiden electric blue who ran against the boys last time and had the blinkers on for the first time.....resolution looks very hard to oppose in the last and deserves to be in the red and along with mr mullins in joburg look like the 2 to take doubles and trebles with....

will be nice to get an early update from the powers that be on whether we will race today and going etc.....Durban is overcast this morning and very cool....no sign of rain though....weather forecast for PMB is cloudy with little chance of rain during the day....depends on how much fell last night though....my early selection will have to be Raaees ...looks like a very versatile sort having won in heavy going and blitzed the field in good conditions thereafter....only likely danger will be helmsman on speed ratings and recent form. will post pa laterB)-

bit surprized to see the helsman pick up a 4 pound penalty for his second to big bird in an apprentice handicap:S
