Encouragement to study harder

Rain chased me down yesterday afternoon/evening, from Van Reenens to Howick where I stayed over. I left straight after my last runner at Vaal Sand. At Howick last night we finished our brasi under cover. At Summerveld this morning, horses trotting and not working. 28mm overnight. At Clairwood, much less, about 5 mm, which is what the course needed. Now at Toti, very overcast and windy, but not raining. Did drizzle a bit this afternoon at Clairwood, but not even a quarter of a mm.

De Var Hyt - injured in transport down a few months ago and thereafter missed a lot of work and will badly need run. My assistant would not run him, if he had the choice and clearly thinks that I am mad. He is probably spot on... but I do need him to run to get fit (the horse, not the assistant....)

anyway..... just thought that I can also post after a bit of Vaal Tea at the coast.... others call it Brand tea...-D

Louis if you going to spend anytime in DBN I think we will have to introduce you to the Shongweni Club possibly/probably again. Sorry though, they don't serve tea after 5pm!

Hopefully Rob can give us more confidence

Are they racing at Turfontein ? Sporting Post don't have the card up?
