Think before you post!

Last night was a nightmare as far as managing the forum and well done again to Bob for all the hard work and frustration to keep a respectful balance.
I am sure many have concerns about the way the country is going and what happened in the past, however this is a racing and sporting website which also touches on general comments of current affairs and news worthy topics on most subjects.
We ask you to please " think before you post" on what implications to others the post can cause, this is a free service to the community and we need you to respect each other and fellow posters

Thank you

Well said Scotia!

I'm not sure exactly which thread you are referring to but I'd like to add the following:

IMHO (and I hope no offense is taken as I am generalising) I think some ego's need to be tamed...

Some people think they know it all and do not respect the opinions of others. No individual is bigger than the game, without owners, punters, trainers, jockeys etc the sport would be dead. Everyone has their own experiences and opinions of the sport and that is their right.

Some people look for insight and clarification on this site and when posing a question or making a statement based on their understanding, they get told to, for example, "get their facts straight". On some occasions the statement actually turned out to be right! I feel these comments are unnecessary when taking into consideration that a tool like the internet/websites/forums can easily be misinterpreted. We do not all speak alike and sometimes the message does not come across as intended.

So give the benefit of the doubt when responding and respect other peoples opinions, it's not worth getting your blood pressure up over it!!!

Thanks for the website and the management thereof... I just can't go without my daily dosage of ABC!
