i hope those 8 jockeys dont get a double stitch if the tftein meeting is postponed and they miss out on greyville rides

Look for a jockey that is not riding in JHB and knows the horse. I have backed Proverb at 6/1 as all the other runners in the betting have lost their jockeys and this was my first choice anyway.

What happens to bets already taken. Pending jockey arrangements are worrying.

Would imagine they would stand as the meeting is taking place within 48 hours of the original meeting.

I've just seen a photo of the finish line at Greyville from a friend who is doing work on the new polytrack. By the looks of it, the abandonment has nothing to do with the rain. Looks like a massive "balls up" with the irrigation / drainage - gaping holes in places. Gold Circle covering up and using rain as an excuse?? I live in Durban and can safely say there hasn't been more than 2mm of rain since Wednesday evening. No rain so far today. We have definitely raced under poorer circumstances regarding the weather in the past. WHATS GOING ON????

There is a chance that the Jhb meeting will be moved to Sunday...then the Scottsville meeting will see major jock changes

whoever does brandons rides should be getting him on some plums tomorow night at greyville seeing he has been jocked off at tftein

Brandon was not 'jocked off' his rides at Turffontein. He got off himself as his priorities are in kzn.

Titch, have you heard anything about tomorrow? With all the organizing I am sure they will do everything possible to race tomorrow. The forecast for Sunday looks worse than Saturday.

Im sure they will make every attempt to race tomorrow, Sunday would mean a 3 meeting clash...
