Race 2: 3-Amur Affair. Danger is 8-Captain Haddock.

Race 3: 3-What A Boytjie. Danger 2-Urgent Fury. Horses that are having their second run (5,6,7,8,14) have scope for improvement and could upset.

Race 4: 13-City Of Athens makes its course debut and finished strongly in its last 2 runs. Should win if well. I make the main danger to be 14-Spirada.

Race 5: 3-3 Bezanova going for the hatrick and is unbeaten. Ran its only 2 starts in the soft conditions. I make the main danger 1-Magic's Magic.

Race 6: Very open race imo. Fancy 12-Kwaaiwater. Respect for 3,4,16,18.

Race 7: going with the roughie 2-Filly Bushwacker. Covering with 14-Tip Toe.

Race 8: another very opened and competitive race. Roughie 14-Saint Claire. Respect for 2,3,6,9,10

Best Bet: Race 2-3 Amur Affair.

R2) Link Man is best in at the weights if you take into account he is a 7 time winner.. A field of 6 runners could be a blessing in disguise as he is always slow away, it's easier to navigate one's way through 5 other runners rather than 15. Could end up favourite come race time.

Nice to see big fields for a change
