6-point MR hike reversed

Here is an article from saftote.com about the issue.
www.tabnews.co.za/other-news/six-point-r...g-increase-reversed/
The interesting point is No.2.
The PE horses will get 6 points in order to even out the inter province raiding?
What are your opinions?

On my ratings a "concession" for PE is merited , but would have been 4 points - MIGHT have a slight advantage for a while?

Now what about horses that came into PE with this extra 6... Do they go down another 6 ie 12 points??
Would make a big difference to some careers.....

That was kinda my point with highlighting that pertinent point.
Would be interesting to find out the answer in due course.
They surely opened a can on themselves with this fine mess.....yet another fine mess I should say

I have been having a look at races coming up and I can't see any horses with the 6 point decrease. Was it not supposed to be effect from the 2 December or am I looking at it incorrectly?

Yip, I was also looking at the Vaal card for tomorrow and they are still racing off the same 'inflated' merit - if implemented is going to casue even more confusion than when it was introduced imo

its from the nominations from the 2nd of december onwards that the 6 point decrease comes into effect...the current meetings horses were nominated before the 2nd december

they've been amended on the nha site e.g: Royal Zulu now 110 from a 116, yorker was 108 before and after the SC..
