Hib's - I also have my doubts - some times just don't seem to make sense.

Hope not like the July gallops when the flag man falls asleep and does not drop the flag until the horses are 20 lengths past him - a joke

A bit like the photo finishes - we seem to be living in the dark ages - correct me if I'm wrong but one could paste a chip on a horses nose and create a wi-fi zone at the finish which would give you the exact result without a photo?

I am actually looking at using this technology as a security measure in a particular business and it looks quite feasible.

Any clanners got any insight into this?

Yup. But, the consistency of the times is very important. No point taking one run say of 58 seconds if they normally run 60. Unless, you can see a potential reason why that time might be repeated. Draw, course, jockey, going etc all have to be taken into account. Now... go find me an "idiot" or two (:D
