The difference in the odds being offered in the BF exchange on SA racing has changed hugely in the last 12-18 months Bob, with the deductions its often better odds at bookies these days. Just controlled by a bookie, machines or BF themselves. Useful in some ways but far from what it once was. Inevitable I guess.

Just to put into perspective gambling within our restricted markets in SA -I saw the amount traded on Betfair AT HALF TIME in the Chelsea game today was over BP2,700,000 (R40m)- one very ordinary premiership match-the mind boggles!

I still feel that more could be done to expand Interbet, the structure is in place just needs a few clever lads to iron out the technicalities for a punter to "lay"
The match bets must be considerd a type of "lay"
Anyway early of a Sunday, will have a coffee and watch the rain on my day off

Good laying !
