I quite like the two first timers in the second, BRAVE CASE and SHAKALAND. They look like nice EW value to me. Anybody know anything about these two or the other first timer?

Are lower grade punters allowed to post here ?

My story also pertains to race two.
I also had a look at the first timers you mentioned and didn't come up with much.
Looked well because the second and third favourites are from races that have produced very little.(as highlighted on 4 August)
I looked until I found some value.
I am hoping Koms runner Country Strong gets a run as he is a strong place contender on form

The favourite has better form but a wide draw could negate any of his chances

Got in early with the following Yankee:

Miss Stingray (Win)
Wensleydale (Place)

Not saying it can't win - but first would like to be sure that Marcus does indeed make the trip - secondly 0 winners from 8 runners out of the formline and as you say, drawn right on the outside on the inside track - not for me

What about Van Zyls runner in race 2 - Abstract with Strydom up??

Nice value at 3/1

Should be a 2 horse race between Abstract and Tiger Sight
