I thought that a spear tackle carried an automatic suspension. :S

Neigh, spoken like a true Province supporter!:D A spear tackle is considered much worse than a raking, especially if it is not on the players head.

I think the 6/10 WP is as much a gift as the Sharks & WP double this weekend - Sharks could not beat WP in Durban in wet conditions - for me WP more effective in drier conditions - so I can't see WP losing at Newlands

I thought the same 2 years ago when the Sharks beat the Lions 51-9 in the last pool game and then again last year when the Sharks beat WP in both pool games. Take nothing for granted now.

take any price you can get on wp because they will win the final with ease.only unbeaten team in competition and a really talented bunch of players who are hungry for more success after beating sharks in last years final in durban.how can sharks possibly upset this province team at newlands wen they couldnt beat a very young province team in last years final.6/10 the gift of a lifetime.lol

Craig from what I saw with Bismark raking, it looked more like stomping.(I could not see where he aimed his stomp though ) The time it took place the ball was already down the line and not anywhere near the player on the ground. Silly of him. Scarra's tackle was a spear tackle, but borderline to the spear side. haha I'm sure there must be degree's of danger involved in a spear tackle ??!! What I mean is it didn't look that bad to me. If we were playing against the Bulls I would have said Scarra was a bit soft on his opponent !! HeHe Losing both hookers for the final in opposing teams wont happen.

Agree Neigh, he pulled out of the spearing part in time for the other guy to have a soft landing. The Du Plessis brothers' tempers still get the better of both of them time and time again, although Bizzy has mastered the art of the innocent look afterwards too!
