Greg, it just amazes me how many people say a certain player or coach should be dropped without giving an adequate replacement. CnC still hasn't answered who he would replace Meyer with considering Jake White will not take the position again.

There are a good few candidates shrek. I have not come up with one name in particular but after the upcoming tour you too will be calling for his head if SA dont win all three matches (wales, scotland and france)

wales will be the match that i wont worry too much about. If it rains for a few days in Edinburgh prior to and on match day and the scots decide to play a tight 10 man match then we could be in for a shock. The french should play an open game which, if Meyer plays his cards right and goes for a counter attack approach then we could beat them comprehensively.

We must first see if we decide to play our first team or blood young players for the end of year tour.

I believe to win big tournaments you need consistency with team selection and management. I hate changing coaches every year or two as it breaks down any momentum built.

sa should take a few youngsters on tour and when the match is won then introduce them but knowing Meyer he will stick them in after 50 minutes when we are just about to pounce from a 5 yard scrum. SA have a bright future as some of the players on show in the currie cup look very good (blue bulls aside) and hopfully they will stick around and get their chance
