Think everyone is waiting for that one!
Although Politician used an unraced 2yr old filly at the gallops.
He went with a companion from the mile and then picked her up at the 4 furlong pole and the companion fell away.I am sure I am right
with the gallop. Not many gallop like that at the July gallops these days!

Regarding race 10- because it is a 2800m a 1kg is 3 MR points instead of the usual 1kg=2MR. The theory is that the weight has more impact over longer trips. Whether this is entirely appropriate when weighting horses that have earned their relative ratings over shorter is debatable but the theory is sound. The 3yo also get 3.5kg over this trip at this time of year. This may also be a little generous.

must have been something as I remember him weaving his way through the field when winning a big race in the Cape I think. My memory isn't good so that must have been a classic performance !

For what its worth at 30/1
Atso's Hill
Tribute To Kylie
Semra
General Atso
with TTK the only win in the bet.Imo especially over 1000 TTK should be 10/1 on if you believe in the 12/10 around Eternal Jet.

Tribute to Kylie looks hard to beat; still 5/10 very short - anyone knows why Teetan is on the Robinson first timer (not a mention on USO) and not on Black Jaguar (a 'very nice horse that will running at them towards the end' according to the trainer) :S

Ben-Hur, it was the BEST race I have ever seen. Top field of the best horses in the country and he had no chance with 200m to go but the champion he was got him home after bulldozing his way through a gap half his size and then making up half a length every stride to catch Festive season win. Incredible.:

Pity the jockette couldn't keep Trix Of The Trade going straight - would have won imo.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.
