What of Panjandrum?

I was a kid and often heard my grandfather rattle off this name (early '50's).

Later I learnt that he came from the AR & GA Ellis stud farm and retired there. However, he does not seem to have made / left behind a mark!

Anybody got info?

tnx

Thanks Hibs

Yoh wat a champ.pity the shooting.
Sat with an elderly man at turfies a few weeks ago,and he said the best he seen was sea cottage.
Real privilege to see a horse so classy,
He had stories for years to come, lucky for the 9th race then I could run home.
Wat horse will I be talking about 40 -50 years from now(assurance that I'll be alive)?
Igugu? Cherry?
Cape town noir?
Nothing really stands out in SA now other than wat igugu and cherry about to do?
