No Greg, they haven't got to the mountains yet. The sprinters are only there for the green jersey as soon as they get to the mountains the climbers take over and the sprinters fall away badly. A climber will be the teams No 1 rider.

Unbelievable achievement. He will be at the front of the race today with his whole team safeguarding him. Amazing.
Hopefully he can keep it for today. The real race starts in the mountains tomorrow

Chris Froome was born in Kenya to English parents (and a Welsh grandmother) and then moved to South Africa as a teenager. He did not even visit the UK until he competed in the Tour of Britain in 2007.
