Explanation on this payout...

Could some Clanner or Vee please explain the payout below. If someone was to catch 50% of the trifecta (R2 Chepstow ) why would the payouts show such a huge carryover. thanks

Punters are only scrutinizing the carryover Payouts. There are number of Payouts when there is a so called fancied result (like an outsider runs 2nd) and the Payout is massive. Yesterday Kempton Race 2 was an example where in a 10 horse field the Trifecta paid over R800. The favorite did run off the board but the 1st and 2nd in that race was near the top of the bookmakers board after the favorite. Only take a Trifecta if you going for outsiders in their big meeting like Ascot for example. Someone is bound to catch the Trifecta in the UK full unit so you can reap the awards. That said the UK Trifecta is become a farce. I now have to choose the races I take the Trifecta carefully or be one of the unhappy punters when I see the Payout.

How on earth do swingers get carried over when the pool should be divided amongst the WINNING TICKETS FFK'SAKE.:S(td)

IN THE INSTANCES WHERE THE POOL IS NOT WON BY A FULL TICKET EG. -50 % THEN THE DECLARED DIVIDEND SHOULD REFLECT THE WHOLE OF THE NETT POOL AMOUNT AND NOT THE AMOUNT THAT WAS PAID OUT TO THE RATIO OF WINNING TICKETS IN THIS CASE SHOWN AS PART WON.

DIVIDEND MUST SHOW AS 2,236--73 POUND.:X


Not only VEE but there are others who should respond, have even made a request for Winning Ways to address these inconsistencies, all falling on deaf ears.

If you take the swinger for 1 pound in the UK is almost R15 to R16 at the exchange rate. The minimum bet for the swinger is R2 in South Africa which is 2 times but when you convert this to pounds you only getting like one eight of the pool. So a one time swinger needs to be taken in actual fact sixteen times in South Africa before for it to be can caught for 1 pound. Then there must be a minimum number of times in pounds the swinger must be played. So if its 5 pounds, the swinger will need to be taken 80 times in rands for it to be caught with no carryover. By the way in France last year, I caught a carryover swinger in France on Hollywood. There were no winners on Saftote. I got paid out 1 third of the pool ()

The Win, Place, Swinger , Exacta and Trifecta payouts are identical in S.A. to UK only difference is substitute RAND for the Pound. So can we get some clarification as to how the commingling is worked out, what rate of exchange and what ratio of the pool S.A. punters are allocated???

Correct me if I am wrong but it seems as if they are using it as a sales gimmick to try & attract mug punters to play more.
Listen to the way the teletrack presenters express themselves when they talk about the carry overs.

Still waiting like a fool for an official explanation, Does anyone have Vees contact number?

I just thought only 0.13% was caught?
