Golf,week commencing 20th June.

This week the PGA Tour heads to TPC River Highlands for The Travelers Championship.

Is a par 70 course, same as Merrion last week. But thats where the similarities end. This track is a walk in the park compared to the brute of
a course last week.Im taking a chance on leaving out last weeks contenders,as I feel that must have drained them considerably.
So I'm omitting Rose,Dufner,Mahan and Fowler..

1.Charley Hoffman...50/1
2nd last year and has had 4 top tens and 2 further top twenties this year.

2.Zach Johnson...40/1
Loves putting on this course, hit 80% of greens in 2011 and finished 7 th in putting average in 2012

3.Freddie Jacobson...40/1
Odd putting up a player who has missed he's last 2 cuts, but that may be a plus as he will be fresh.
Won here in 2011 and finished 8th in 2012.
There are more missed 3ft and less putts on this track than any other, pin positions are difficult.FJ is a perfect
369 putts from 3ft or less.
GET ON Freddie Jacobson to be Top European at 9/1.There are only 13 runners and with Gary Christan,Henrick Norlander and Greg Owen in that
list I make it 10 runners.they are not very good.

4.Matt Every...125/1
Hasn't won a tour event, but he is accurate and track will Suit..Bit of a guess but that's factored in the price.

6.Mike Weir....250/1
What happened to him, looked like he was going the David Duvall route. But there could be a mini resurgence.
Played very well last week, finishing 28th and shot 69 on Sunday.Has made 4 cuts in a row..
Can't see him winning but 40/1 to be Top Rest Of World looks tempting...paddy power and bet 365 go 1/4 odds 5 places.

7.patrick Reed...150/1
Keep an eye on this guy, could catch fire.

Main bets
Charlie Wi to be Top Korean 5/1,only 7 runners.

Charley Hoffman Top Amerian 28/1 with Bet 365....5 places

Freddie Jacobson Top Uropean. 9/1 1/4 odds 3 places...

I'm away this weekend so no punting for me. Best of luck Dave and others. I would look for a Sergio resurrection and Woods will start finding form. Haven't looked at the field tho.
I didn't choose the #puntlife, the #puntlife chose me!
