no it doesnt only a win in the greyville 1900 guarantees u a run in the july..nowhere in the nomination book does it say that bar the greyville 1900....also as far as i can recall wagner will be the only horse to come into the july with a merit rating of less than 100

I might have found s good thing in the 6th.
There's a little (local)collateral form that points strongly to Cape Cutter winning.
Also in his first run two lengths to Zambezi Torrent .That came out and won a good race.
The worry is going for the younger horse but I think he is good enough.I say this because I feel Nile Symphony has a chance of being ahead of the rest and his MR is only 58.Dont know how to relate this to a 2yos rating but I'm sure Cape Cutter should get a rating in the high seventies if not in the eighties.

Interesting the weights in race 2, run for it receives 3.5 kg and should be giving 4 kg to Wagner . This means run for it must beat Wagner by 5 l to run to his rating, so how will the race affect these horses as far as the July ??? Interesting!!

R1 8 Streetbouncer
R2 3 Run For It
R3 3 Cherished
R4 11 Titlee
R5 11 Solo Mio
R6 9 Cape Cutter
R7 16 Piano Man
R8 4 Dame Dubois
R9 7 Trendy Babe

Double for the day Fairview R8 Rush For John and Greyville R8 Dame Dubois. Treble GR6 9 Cape Cutter and then added a few for bigger accumulators like Legatee at Fairview and Streetbouncer, Titler at G.

Small E/W Patent: R6 1 Breezing Through (but the Laing scratching allowing her Vauclair a run with jockey change concerns me as well as the 1 box for BT) and at Greyville R7 16 Piano Man and R9 7 Trendy Babe

Have a feeling today may be a fav's day. Be(s)t of luck to all (tu)

On weights and form Welwitschia must be the one to beat. That being said I will look elsewhere due to her 1 draw. She is usually slow and from that draw at Greyville could get shuffled well down the field leaving her plenty to do in the straight against decent sprinters. I will be going with Wild Type who can follow up after a great run behind Contador. Should be a cracking race.

Looking forward to see Run For It tonight. (tu)
