Race 2, Allowance; #3 RUN FOR IT; at the MR's he is weighted to win by over 4 lengths, the blinkers are off; nap

Race 7, Post Merchants; #8 WELWITSCHIA; weighted to win by nearly 2 lengths, hot Delpech/de Kock combo, drawn on the paint; get 5's

A question?? .... Surely a horse like Wagner would have to win tonite to get in the July field, if RUN FOR IT wins he may take Wagners so called place in the July field??

greg, I have not seen that specific condition (Summer Cup winner guaranteed a run in the July) in black on white myself - but that's the impression I got from other posters :S

I wonder if that also applies to the President's Challenge (WFA) which is a better test of ability than the Summer Cup which is a handicap (some say an old B Division race!!)
