Told you not to bet against a field of unknowns. We knew we would beat everything that had run before. Heard 2 interesting things after the race.

1. Geoff Woodruff ( trainer) didn't even fancy the winner which won in the manner of a decent horse.

2. The cnnections of Humboldt reputedly staked R 180k on their horse, which finished 4th.

All in all a hot race.

Not unlucky Robert just met a very decent horse. Check how the 4th horse was ridden once beaten.The 5th horse finishing fast was Fearless Assassin.
