Dual Grade 1 winner Thunder Dance is to be sold at the Cape Broodmare & Weanling Sale at Worcester on 23 May to dissolve a partnership between Klawervlei Stud and Ian Longmore.
According to a Klawervlei spokesman, the Jet Master filly is being sold because Longmore does not breed horses and therefore does not wish to retain her as a broodmare.
Brett Crawford, who has trained the four-year-old to win last year’s Paddock Stakes and last month’s L Jaffee Empress Club Stakes, plans a fillies pinnacle stakes at Turffontein as a prep for the Garden Province Stakes on Vodacom Durban July day on Saturday, July 6 which is only 60 days away.
