What weight is he looking at for the July,on current standings?

You had to be very impressed with his run yesterday...very very impressed...

I have no idea about the weight he will carry, but he will be very hard to beat in the July. Had a perfect come back run

If the highest merit rated horse is 113 = 60.0kgs, then Hill54 @ MR 112 should carry 59.5kgs. I think that's how the weights are framed, not entirely certain, hopefully someone more au fait with handicapping will post.

Yeah uphill for him with the weight no doubt. Could be looking for a pilot becos don't think he will be 1st choice for the retainer jock?

1.The weights to be carried shall not exceed 60kg and shall not be less than 52kg.
2. Minimum weight for 4-year-olds and older: Colts and Geldings 53kg Fillies and Mares 52kg
    Maximum weight for 4-year and older
    at publication of weights: Colts and Geldings 60kg Fillies and Mares 59kg
3. Minimum weight for 3-year-olds: Colts and Geldings 53kg Fillies 52kg
    Maximum weight for 3-year-olds
    at publication of weights: Colts and Geldings 57kg Fillies and Mares 56kg
4. No penalties shall be incurred after the publication of weights.
5. Notwithstanding 2 and 3 above, the Handicapper will raise all weights proportionately to 60kg. should the top
    weight originally allotted be less than 60kg at final declaration.

Beach beauty carried virtually the same weight as hill fifty four if u take into account her sex allowance of 2,5kgs,both had the same amount of time of the track,but the filly trounced him good and solid, cormack could of won by double the winning margain if he wanted to.in my opinion she will beat him again in the july.

Exactly,and beach beauty won in a canter hard held.
Horse could be a serious runner in the dbn july.

Beach Beauty has more speed than H54,add 800m

Hill54 is a horse to be followed this season imo..he may not win July, but will go close...
