Scotia on Champions Day
12 years 1 month ago
Good evening to you all and just to report I am still alive but just rather busy these days.
The wedding went of like clockwork and here is a cracker of my wee lass and proud dad.
I was asked did I cry? "Only when I seen the bar bill", it emptied my hairy sporran.
We are still trying to work through the bucket list and just a word of warning to anyone doing the same, if you go somewhere you really enjoy, it goes back on the list, so Mrs S wants to go back to Thailand for her special birthday ( not allowed to mention a number ).
" Champions Day" is on everyone's lips and what a feast of racing we are in for and plenty on track activities including a trip down stairs for a few Scotch pies for scotia.
The card looks a punters dream ( famous last words ) where Yorker, Red Ray and COTT look impossible to oppose, we can also add Franny, Arcetri Pink and WAW (stiff opposition) but remember its your money and your call but due to the short prices ATCs will be the way to go.
What A Winter by Leisl King
I have played tonight's carry over lotto to give me a financial injection for the weekend as I also need some money for our 2 runners on Friday night, Miss Diana 14/1 a decent price and Budwieser Boy 14/1 should get better.
We also have the sales .... and maybe we can find that bargain buy?
Not forgetting our competition with Hollywood, where we might have a few joint winners if all the hotties arrive......Enter
As far as the July the bookies have a strange situation where COTT was not nominated at first acceptance but its no secret that the shrewd trainer has forgotten more about training horses than many will ever learn and to see the filly ending up fav will be no surprise. I note that Hollywood have again been innovative by having betting on the first acceptance "ONLY" and any additions will be ignored in regards to the result at this stage of first round betting.
Igugu is also running on Sunday and we again wish the MDK team all the best for more glory....More
We have plenty activity on the forum and we had 6032212 hits in March another new milestone.
I am sure we have all been following Bobs progress via the site and hope and pray he can one day have that lemonade and join us in SA for a day at the races.... Link
I have to dash again to ensure Zoro and myself can get prepared for a day at the races and a break from the Hangover Sports Bar
Hope to catch u at the big T on Sat. we might be trying some fancy dancing in the evening if all the hotties arrive but nothing to match this.....link to amazing video from Shayne
Good punting and may your God be with you

Lovely pic Bob. Those eyes make them look like they have come out of a Lord Of The Rings movie.
