I know there was still (human) Formula 1 racing at Kyalami ... didn't Jodie Scheckter win that year? Sledgehammer and who else were the great horses of 1975?

The late Alec Uzent was a small but very shrewd trainer at Newmarket who had Benny Little riding most of the fancied runners for the stable [ Poetic, Grandiflora and Scarletina ] round about this time;)

Great stuff. I remember we had the " Blue book of racing " The S.A.Racing Mirror which had the Fotoform in splendid color and a real dishy dame in the Scott Bros. ad on the cover in KZN.(:D

Was in SA at this stage of my life 25 ish but was still following UK racing , Grundy ?
I did start buying my first computer forms around this time, it was 1983 when had first winner Mucho Hombre
