Sorry to bother you but have a question about the swinger and exacta bets and was hoping you can help me out.

Lets say i play R100 boxed swinger or execta bet and my selections run into the money and the swinger according to tote pays R2.30 and the execta pays R4.80. What does that mean, Sw pays R2.30 for every rand i played and the Ex pays R4.80 for every rand i played.

Long story short how do one calculate your winnings on these two bets.

Dave the question is a little confusing, I would imagine it should read swinger and exacta box. So if R100 was wagered on both bets the swinger would return R230 showing a profit of R130, the exacta box would be R50 on each bet so would return R240 thus showing a profit of R140. I hope I have read this right and if so it helps. (tu)

You see as i see it. is that if u box a swinger 3 horses minimum bet costs 3 bucks times 2. so 6 buck. you have three winning chances. so depends what part of swinger wins but for 100 buck you get 33.33 times only.

exacta as Shrek say 50 times if only take 2 horses. only one winning chance unless both dead heat for 1st.
