The Real Impact

So a few on here know i do a bit of telly work for ATR. I can say that very time i am in the studio i get at least 100 emails praising sa racing and some of my selections. The interest got so much that i was "forced" to go onto twitter. So i have been twittering for a couple of 3 months.

Today i went through the card for my "followers"

My Sanctuary was advised to be part of doubles etc.......

THE PROBLEM for SA racing is everyone watches these races now. I have had 37 tweets asking me HOW can that race be deemed ligit?

This is the real impact on SA racing. Myself/ Andrew/ABC/Formgrids and everyone on here draw people from abroad in. I mention ABC all the time i am on air. Davetheflower lives here and there are many more.

The real impact is a loss of faith in SA racing.....sad really

100%
We as punters can take a horse being unlucky,or a jockey messing up,or one falling at an obstacle. Its annoying but we put it down
to the nature of thoroughbred racing.
What we can't stomach is non-triers and officials in charge who are clueless

I been harping on same subject but again it goes to show the punter is not appreciated in this game. If the punters point of view was taken, that rule would never been past. We need representation somewhere, somehow. I am not a professional, though I punt everyday almost. Lol. But with common sense how could law be. I never even knew such a rule existed. I thought in such a big industry proper and fair laws would be in place. Sigh as I can see laws were drawn up with only certain parties taken into account.
