The Death penalty is a "cop out" - It is far worse to serve out a life sentence (without parole) than to be put in for two years and then be killed. The girl that is raped effectually has a life sentence yet we wish to give criminals an easy out with the death penalty.
Make Jail conditions tougher(no drugs, sex etc) - Death is something we all have to face and it's not that hard a thing to do - Living is difficult so let criminals live harshly for a period deemed appropriate by the courts rather than a quick injection to eliminate them from the system.

All that was said above is so true and we can only hope BUT it will fall on deaf ears because the farking clowns who run this country don't give a fu*k.

Problem in this country is how many do life sentences for serious crime.?There is no fear for doing crime in this country which is very unfortunate..

A fact is not a fact unless it is also politically correct! :S

Sharia Law has no place in South Africa as women have equal rights to men here(according to our Constitution) and we do not "stone" women for having affairs etc.

The problem stems from a poor Social and Judicial system. A person could go in for shoplifting but after a few months he's now well versed in housebreaking etc. The prisons need to "correct" these people and try to prepare them for society rather than just holding them until the end of their sentence.

Lots of vehicles hijacked are being 'ordered' from neighbouring countries!
