R2, The Morrigan (33/10), was drawn extremely wide last time out, and appears to have taken off in the last 400m, the longer straight this time round should suit this horse. The favourite, Petrovsky (3/1), imo, appears to be looking for further. The Morrigan is my punt for the day.
Hoping to beat a few favourites on the day with the following :-
R3, Neartic Dancer (4/1), i don't like the favourite What A Mission (5/2), not enough exposed form (for me) to warrant favouritism, whereas Neartic Dancer has valid excuses in it's last 3 starts, drawn extremely wide, today, not the best of draws, but better than the others in the betting.
R4, Captain's Lullaby (3/1), merit rated the same as the favourite, Sue For Peace (16/10), hoping the 5.0kgs pull in the weights can be the difference.
R5, Cavalli (33/10), merit rated higher and has more wins than the favourite and stable companion, Marchant (2/1), to me the key is the jockey bookings. Last time out, Marchant beat non other than Capetown Noir, and was ridden by Domeyer, on that alone, surely he would wanted to have retained the ride, admittedly i don't know who gets first preference in the yard.
Good punting.

Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

I don't see why Hazel Jay can't have an E/W chance in the last. I think 12/1 is a decent place bet anyway, even if it was only for her No. 1 draw.
Don't fancy the Spies stable much unfortunately!

Not sure how strong the formlines are?? and personally think there are bigger improvers in that field, Baba Ganoushe coming along the right way, Impressef, the 2 Crawford runners and even Coral Candy, ou of the older runners Lond Theatre .....very open contest... BUT who knows with Spies...(
