I don't think its very professional to be asking Gavin Venter to tip the public an ATC for the Summer Cup when Gav has said ''HE HAS NOT STUDIED THE CARD''.... Then Cohen carries on that he has the card in his bag and Gav can have a look later and give an ATC....(td)

A lot of the Tellytrack staff don't know the difference between tipping and guessing,so he doesn't see the irony!

I hope Gavin doesn't fall for it..........he is not one of the guessers.

He just sent me a message saying " HA HA Gregbucks canie spell ma name right "

ps they will be under orders to promote atc from today into the pools tomorrow

Agree.

Very good question, Rob. There could be several reasons, one someone commented on was something about Bumpy having some sort of ailment.?:S

The other was when Bumpy choked on the dust at The Big Hole and fell or nearly fell from the commentators booth!!

Now can you imagine the crisis if God forbid something happened to good ole Bumpy in the middle of the races? Forget about the Kimberley bus drama, here the races would have to be delayed in order to import another substitute commenatator from wherever.

So it seems like Cohen is the substitute in the event of unforseen circumstances?

I don`t get it? is there not a presenter and a commentator at all centers?

You're not supposed to get it. We're just whingeing cos we cannot pick on jocks and trainers....:D

I seem to recall that a few years ago the commentator fell off his chair at the vital time and missed the horses going passed the line. In the days when you phoned a dedicated number to hear the commentary.
