Good morning Guys, hope the weather hold for tomorrow but 70% chance of rain looks rather sad for a great day of racing.

Anyways I really hope it holds out B)

Please post your selections and your thoughts for the card, I would also like to get your input as far as Mr. Tobin is concerned...

Good luck to all and break a leg !!!

Definitely think a Tarry win, and looking at accross the ice with Fradd aboard, although the favourite Mr Tobin looks hard to beat.
I didn't choose the #puntlife, the #puntlife chose me!

I think this race is very open, as a handicap should be; Tarry holds a strong hand, but de Kock is surely itching to add 'the richest race on sand in SA' to his collection.

Imo, Across the Ice won so easy the other day, that he is a logical favorite, Mr Tobin has an obvious chance (he was not really extended against Beacon Flare the other day and should hold him again imo - despite the weight turnaround) but he looks at best over 1600 - I suspect that The Mouseketeer is not in the same vein of form as last year and imo he has a tough task - as does Captain's Secret - Across the Ice really ran away from him in the August Stakes.

So I make it between Across the Ice and Meadow Magic - M Tobin to beat Beacon Flare for 3rd and for some roughies to include in the quartet, I'd consider Eastern Cobbler and Calanish, who are both very well weighted imo.
