The "Hitman" Hatton

I see Ricky Hatton or should I say Ricky Fatton is trying to make a late comeback. I love boxing but if there is one thing that gets under my skin it's British boxers and the hype that the British press gives them. Even with the backing of Oscar and Roach when Hatton faced off against Mayweather and Pac in Vegas there was no doubt that the Manchester lad would be on his back, it was just a matter of time. If I remember correctly he was 43-0 before going to the US but against who??
Anyone remember Prince Naseem Hamed? Went to the US and got battered by Marco Antonio Barrera, never heard of him since. David Haye fought one name of importance, Klitschko and lost. The list does go on with one exception, Lennox Lewis.
Getting back to the poster boy for Guinness, I do believe he has a future in professional sport but I'd say he has a better chance of taking on Phil "The Power" Taylor at a game of 501 then fighting anyone half decent. If you'd like to watch some decent boxing Chavez vs Martinez this weekend might be one for the records, I fancy the draw at 18/1 as a cheeky punt for the weekend.

Did anyone watch the Klitschko title fight last weekend? what an embarassment to sport, the whole card was a joke, thank goodness for the good looking women in the ring during rounds.
The problem with most boxers are that they come from tough backgrounds, limited education, do not know how to handle money and get ripped off by both promoter and their management teaM, then lose most of their money and expect a quick-fix by taking another fight when clearly there sell-by-date is over.
