Interesting to me that there appears to have been money for the newcomer Badger's Quest in R4... drawn widest of all so presumably someone out there must think it will prove to be a little better than ordinary...?

Englander, Zackey stable been known to step out well backed 1st timers round the turn successfully, and having done so once or twice, I've noticed the market anticipates a repeat and claims, so not necessarily stable money.

The last couple have not won, and the bookies have SMILED because the initial claim seems to set off panic buying when the horse maybe not even fancied by stable.::o

Cheers Fazz... was looking for someone to give me that type of answer or advise it was stable money and well fancied! (tu) I did have a very small bet on it myself at 25s so covered either way hopefully :)

25/1 the right price to buy at, though I have no idea if it's stable money - they are quite crafty (even one that won very heavily backed, I recall them saying was not their money(:P)).

More importantly, when are you posting your selections - hope you have a couple of Idiot E/W's at big prices for us today(:D

Before I forget... I'm pretty sure on the TV the other day someone said that Azzie had given some sort of warning against backing Lancewood today. I can't remember exactly and its possible I'm wrong but it didn't go as far as saying don't back it, more a tread carefully. If anyone can remember better then it might help some to post it... use it ot not, I don't think it will win anyway but don't blame me if it does!!! (:P)

Even if I have little confidence???!! lol but your wish is my command... R1 any of them, my current preference in order is 4-9-5 but I don't think any of the market leaders are value even if it does look like they are up against donkeys! ;)

Semi-idiots E/W patent:
R2 4 Reality Show
R7 5 Ace of Hearts
R8 13 Chop Suey
If I do a yankee or bigger then I'll add 4 (probably!) from R1 and/or R4 4 Sheikitup

Best for wins: R3 11 Wood Nymph and R6 7 Egyptian (for a treble or patent then probably R4 13 Vitruvian Man)
Shorter priced "others" e/w R5 8 Directorate and R8 2 Bugle Call

Be(s)t of luck to all (tu)

lol... Scotia you and your short-priced ones! You and me just view R1 with totally different perspectives! :)

Which is Oscar's horse in the 4th mate?

And I want to clarify my comment regarding Lancewood... I'm not trying to put anyone off it, more hoping someone can confirm if my memory is accurate and, if so, what was actually said.

Brother In Arms plus was with a few of the jocks last night and as my granny used to say " rather a short priced winner than a long priced loser"

Go Usain ( for the double) 15/10 a good price now!

Cheers mate... and Usain looks very good... nailed on actually ("very good" sounds like the understatement of the year!! lol)
And I agree with your comment, it is just too many of the shorties just fail to deliver for me... good luck with them though (tu)
They've just mentioned Lancewood again on TV, apparently Azzie said he thought the merit rating was too high.
