I THOUGHT THAT IT WAS THE OBJECTIVE OF THE RACING AUTHORITIES TO GET NEW YOUNG PEOPLE INTO RACING , PEOPLE WHO DONT HAVE THE KNOWLEDGE YET BUT HAVE THE MONEY WHICH THE AUTHORITIES BADLY NEED . IT REALLY SEEMS THAT THE TAIL IS WAGGING THE DOG AND THAT A GOOD YOUNG PRESENTER IN WHO THE NEW BLOODS WOULD FIND INSPERATION IN NOW HAVE TO WATCH A COUPLE OF OLD DOGS TIPPING 3/10 FAVOURITES . IF A MARKETING MAN (QUALIFIED WITH EXPERIENCE ) HAD BEEN APPOINTED THIS WOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED . IMO KEN RUTHERFORD HAS MISSED A GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY TO HELP ENLARGE THE BETTING POOL AND HAS DAMAGED THE INDUSTRY . IF PEOPLE FEEL THAT STRONGLY ABOUT LOSING 2CENTS THEN THEY MUST VOTE WITH THEIR WALLETS AND USE BOOKMAKERS AND NOT THE TOTE , THATS WHAT I WILL DO AND IN MY SMALL WAY MAKE A POINT.

Its a matter of time before Winning Form snaps up the services of Darryl...

IMO , the fact of the matter remains that DM was under utilised. He is TOP CLASS, so it cost all of us in Racing, when he wasnt a permanent fixture/presenter on ALL meetings.

Also, it astounds me that, in this modern day and age, "contract renewals" are offered on an "economy" basis, instead of on a PERFORMANCE basis.

DM has grown immensely, in a short time and should have been rewarded for his outstanding performance, rather than being offered a basic increase.

Racing is going to really battle, if we neglect the few, that really are good, in favour of a budgetary restraints and constraints.

nothing in this game suprises me,,, one of our racing bosses recently told me that the uploading and showing of full lenth race replays is on a par in effort and input to the game as Formgrids is,, the person sitting next to me in the car hit the nail on the head when she asked me "how do the racing bosses get their jobs"
